1. What RunHub is

RunHub is a platform that helps people discover community running clubs, RSVP to runs, and check in when they attend, and helps hosts organize and manage their own clubs. RunHub itself does not organize, supervise, staff, insure, or guarantee any run or club — those are run independently by their hosts. RunHub is the coordination layer, not the event.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a RunHub account. This is enforced at sign-up and isn't just a policy statement — the date-of-birth picker only allows dates 18 years ago or earlier. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Provide accurate information when signing up.
• You choose a role — Runner or Host — when you register.
• Tell us at support@wearerunhub.co.uk if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. If you're a Host

Creating a club and scheduling runs on RunHub means you're taking on responsibility for that club and its runs. Specifically:

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you post (meeting point, time, parking, description) and for keeping it up to date, including cancelling a run in the app if it's not happening.
• You're responsible for how your run is actually conducted — pacing, route safety, group management, and anything else that happens in person. RunHub has no role in supervising your run.
• You're responsible for your own compliance with any applicable law, insurance, or safeguarding requirements for running a group activity in your area — RunHub does not provide insurance or legal cover for hosts.
• If you check in a guest by name, you're representing that you have a reasonable basis to record that person's attendance (see the Privacy Policy's guest check-in section).
• Hosts are independent organizers, not employees, agents, or representatives of RunHub.

Indemnity. Because RunHub doesn't organize, supervise, or insure your runs, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RunHub and Marc Donegan (and our officers, employees, and agents) against any claim, liability, loss, damage, or reasonable legal cost arising from:

• the runs or club activities you organize, host, or manage through RunHub;
• your breach of these terms, including the responsibilities above;
• your own negligence, or that of anyone helping you run your club; or
• inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information you post about a club or run.

This doesn't apply to the extent a claim arises from RunHub's own negligence or breach of these terms, and it doesn't override §8's carve-outs for liability the law doesn't let us exclude (e.g. our own negligence causing death or personal injury). It's an agreement between you and RunHub — it doesn't reduce any right a runner or third party has against you directly.

5. If you're a Runner

• RSVPing to a run is an expression of intent to attend, not a guarantee — plans change on both sides.
• Checking in confirms your attendance for that run's record.
• You agree to treat hosts and other runners respectfully, and to follow whatever reasonable rules a host sets for their own club/runs.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use RunHub to:

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about a club or run
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a club
• Attempt to access another user's account or data you're not authorized to see
• Misuse the check-in system (e.g. checking yourself into runs you didn't attend) — this undermines the accuracy of every host's attendance data

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

7. Assumption of risk — physical activity

Running and group exercise carry inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, falls, collisions with traffic or other people, and cardiovascular events. By using RunHub to find or attend a run, you acknowledge:

• Participation in any run discovered through RunHub is voluntary and at your own risk.
• RunHub does not organize, supervise, or provide safety oversight for any run — that responsibility sits with the host and, ultimately, with you as a participant.
• You're responsible for assessing your own fitness to participate. We recommend consulting a doctor before starting a new exercise routine if you have any health concerns.
• RunHub is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance at a run, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that liability — see §8.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law

Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• RunHub is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information posted by hosts (meeting points, times, run details) is accurate — that's the host's responsibility, not something RunHub verifies.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of hosts, runners, or any third party you interact with through RunHub.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service, where we are liable at all under this section, is limited to £100, or the fees you've paid us in the preceding 12 months, if higher. RunHub is currently free to use, so in practice this is a flat £100 cap for now.

9. Your content

If you post content (club descriptions, FAQs, images, etc.), you keep ownership of it, but grant us a license to display it within the Service. You confirm you have the right to post what you post. We can remove content that violates these terms.

10. Intellectual property

The RunHub name, logo, and app itself are owned by Marc Donegan. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its branding without permission.

11. Third-party services

RunHub integrates with Apple (Sign in with Apple, Apple Maps), Google (Google Sign-In), and Supabase. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We don't control and aren't responsible for those services' availability.

12. Termination

You can stop using RunHub at any time by deleting your account from the Profile screen in the app. We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, or for extended inactivity, with notice where reasonably practicable.

13. General provisions

• Severability — if any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• Entire agreement — these terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and RunHub about the Service, and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
• No waiver — if we don't act on a breach right away, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to act on it later.
• Assignment — we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms (for example, if RunHub is acquired or restructured); you may not transfer yours without our consent.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above, and for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you in-app.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
